SIX: Limited Edition

$300.00

You want to be on both sides of here and there, now and then, together and—(what do we call the life we would wish back, if we could? The before?)—alone. But any open space may be a threshold...

—excerpt from “Threshold” by Maggie Smith

SIX is Radius Books’s sixth in an ongoing series and our primary fundraising project for 2026. As with the previous five editions, this book pairs signed photographic prints (tipped by hand into the book) with pieces of text, all of which respond to a joint theme selected for each volume. For SIX, the themes of portals and thresholds become conceptual starting points to which each photographer and writer responded.

Featuring photographs by
Alec Soth
An-My Lê
Dionne Lee
John Divola
Joy Episalla
Jungjin Lee
Leslie Hewitt
and Sheree Hovsepian

Photographs are paired with texts by
Carmen Winant
Jake Skeets
Maggie Smith
Matthew Goulish
Mei-mei Bersenbrugge
Renee Gladman
Richard Siken
Rose B. Simpson
and Saretta Morga

Books will ship in December.
