SIX is Radius Books’s sixth in an ongoing series and our primary fundraising project for 2026. As with the previous five editions, this book pairs photographic images with pieces of text, all of which respond to a joint theme selected for each volume. For SIX, the themes of portals and thresholds become conceptual starting points to which each photographer and writer responded.

Featuring photographs by Alec Soth, An-My Lê, Dionne Lee, John Divola, Joy Episalla, Jungjin Lee, Leslie Hewitt, and Sheree Hovsepian. Photographs are paired with texts by Carmen Winant, Jake Skeets, Maggie Smith, Matthew Goulish, Mei-mei Bersenbrugge, Renee Gladman, Richard Siken, Rose B. Simpson, and Saretta Morgan.
